Creating Project, Sites and Link (Licensed Band)ΒΆ
To create a project with two sites and one link:
Click New Project
.The Project Page is displayed
Enter Customer Information and Default settings for new links.
Click Save Project
Save the project as Tutorial_licensed.lpp.
Click New Network Site
The Add New Network Site page is displayed. Enter this data:
Name: Park Hill
Maximum Height: 30 meters
Latitude: 39.76631N
Longitude: 104.93411W
Description: Antenna mounted on tower
Inserting Site 1 (Licensed)
Click New Network Site
The Add New Network Site page is displayed. Enter this data:
Name: Golf Club
Maximum Height: 15 meters
Latitude: 39.75093N
Longitude: 104.84035W
Description: Antenna mounted on club house
Inserting Site 2 (Licensed)
Click New PTP Link
The Add New PTP Link page is displayed.
Select the two sites to be linked: Park Hill and Golf Club.
Inserting Link (Licensed)
If requesting path profiles automatically the profile request is sent to the Cambium Path Profiler and will automatically appear in the profile window.
If requesting profiles manually click Project, Get Profiles.
The Request Profiles page is displayed. Tick the link “Park Hill to Golf Club” (if not already ticked).
Requesting Profiles (Licensed)
The profile request is sent to the Cambium Path Profiler and will automatically appear in the profile window.
Configure the link equipment, see Equipment (licensed bands):
